In 2016 Little Learners was a finalist in six national awards, including achieving ‘Highly Commended’ for Franchisor of the Year and Best New Children’s Activity! In 2017 we went on to win Business Growth of the Year, New Woman Franchisor, Best Newcomer and three of our franchisees were up for Franchisee of the Year!

In 2018 Little Learners was awarded with Highly Commended Best Preschooler Activity and in 2019 Little Learners was ranked NUMBER 37 in the UK TOP 100 FRANCHISES and received the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction award! In 2020, Rachel won Young Woman in Franchising, Young Franchisor of the Year, reached the Top 100 Influential Woman in franchising AND Little Learners made it into the TOP 100 Franchises again!

In 2021 our sister company, Little Messy Learners Australia, won SEVEN national awards including Best Party Provider, Best Children’s Activity and our early writing programme, The Mark Makers won Best Play & Learn Product! As a franchise we were shortlisted for a Best Franchise Award for Children’s Services and we also became accredited BFA members. Towards the end of the year Little Learners won Highly Commended Most Loved Baby Activity too!

In 2022, Little Learners made in into the Top 100 UK Franchises for a 4th year running! Natalie from Little Learners Liverpool South made it to the finals for Creative Leader of the Year (North) and our franchisor, Rachel won a Remarkable Achievement Award. Little Learners also made it to the finals of the BFA awards for Lifestyle Franchisor of the Year!

Little Messy Learners Australia, Laura from Little Messy Learners Kwinana and Justine from Little Messy Learners Mandurah won Best National Preschooler Activity for 3-5 year olds, Best Local Franchisee Kids Activity and Best Kids Party Entertainment in the What’s on 4 Kids Australia awards.

What our franchisees think…

I bought my Little Learners franchise 5 years ago and I absolutely love running my little business! I had been a teacher for 20 years, both mainstream and in the special educational needs sector, however, as lots of teachers find, I was becoming exhausted and overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work and I wanted something that would fit more around my family. I was so excited when I found Little Learners on a ‘mums net’ chat! I loved the educational aspect of the company, teaching mark-making and early writing skills through play.

Since then, I haven’t looked back! I have built up a successful business, running weekly classes, parties, special events, working in schools and even collaborating with an art gallery in central Brighton for a monthly session. I love what I do and have been told by parents that this shines through. It is so exciting to see the children become immersed in play with the activities that I have designed and set up. The best bit is that they are learning so many essential skills, all through play – the BEST way to learn!

Back in 2019 I decided I needed to change my life and do something I enjoy. Since becoming a Mummy for the first time I realised I wanted to spend more time with my children while they are young. My daughter was only 3 at the time of me looking into Little Learners. I worked in a job that I enjoyed but didn’t love and I knew it was now or never.

I’m so glad I made the choice to become part of an amazing group of ladies and the Little Learner Franchise. It’s give me that work life balance that I craved. I now have a son who is 2 and he comes to classes with me and so does my older daughter. They love it and I love that I can be there for them when they need me as I work my classes around what suits my family life.

Best decision I have ever made and its definitely changed my life for the better!
