2025
In 2025, our fabulous franchisees were nominated for 5 individual awards under the ‘Most Loved Activity Leader’ & ‘Most Loved Academic/Creative Franchise Territory’ categories. A huge well done to Sonya (Belfast), Cherrie (Playspace), Anita (Colchester), Kim (Winchester) & Natalie (Liverpool)
Little Learners UK was also nominated for the ‘Most Loved Party Supplier’.
Rachel Fay-Sedgewick was a finalist in the The Steve Franks ‘Shining Star’ Award for Excellence and Innovation sponsored by Children’s Activities Association.
2024
Director Rachel Fay-Sedgewick was delighted to be named the Diversity & Inclusion Champion at the What’s On 4 Kids Awards 2024, celebrating upon her decade long work as a neurodiverse business woman and her work to promote inclusion within the children’s activity industry.
Rachel said – “At Little Learners & Little Messy Learners we focus on providing inclusive activities for all children and believe in meeting children where they are, rather than where we think they should be. Little Learners UK won the 2024 Diversity & Inclusion Champion Award and we couldn’t have been more thrilled – but there is still so much work for us to do!’
Our franchisees were also celebrated at the 2024 awards, with Natalie of Little Learners Liverpool South reaching the final of the Most Loved Academic/Creative Franchise Territory and Cherrie of Little Learners Playspace reaching the final of Most Loved Activity Leader or Business Manager in North England! Well done ladies!
Additionally, Kim at Little Learners Winchester was a finalist in the Winchester Business Awards! Well done Kim!
2023
Aisha from Little Learners North West Kent won bronze in the Franchisee of the Year category at the Virtual Franchise Awards!
Little Learners UK were up for SEVEN national What’s on 4 Kids Awards and Little Messy Learners Australia received multiple nominations for the 2023 What’s on 4 Kids Australia awards.
2022
Little Learners made in into the Top 100 UK Franchises for a 4th year running! Natalie from Little Learners Liverpool South made it to the finals of the What’s on 4 Kids Awards for Creative Leader of the Year (North) and our franchisor, Rachel won a Remarkable Achievement Award. Little Learners also made it to the finals of the BFA honours for Lifestyle Franchisor of the Year!
Little Messy Learners Australia, Laura from Little Messy Learners Kwinana and Justine from Little Messy Learners Mandurah won Best National Preschooler Activity for 3-5 year olds, Best Local Franchisee Kids Activity and Best Kids Party Entertainment in the What’s on 4 Kids Australia awards.
2021
Little Messy Learners Australia won SEVEN national awards including Best Party Provider, Best Children’s Activity (3-5 years) and our early writing programme, The Mark Makers won Best Play & Learn Product!
As a franchise we received the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction award again and we were shortlisted for a Best Franchise Award for Children’s Services. We also became accredited BFA members.
Towards the end of the year Little Learners won Highly Commended Most Loved Baby Activity at the What’s on 4 Kids UK Awards too!
2020
Our franchisor, Rachel, won Young Woman in Franchising in the EWIF awards, Young Franchisor of the Year in the AFA awards, reached the Top 100 Influential Woman in Franchising AND Little Learners made it into the TOP 100 Franchises again!
2019
Little Learners was ranked NUMBER 37 in the UK TOP 100 FRANCHISES and received the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction award! Rachel, our Franchisor was also a finalist for Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the NatWest Business Great British Entrepreneur awards and was listed in the Millennials in Franchising Power List
2018
Little Learners UK was awarded with Highly Commended Best Preschooler Activity in the National What’s on 4 Kids UK Awards.
2017
Little Learners UK went on to win Business Growth of the Year by Networking Mummies, New Woman Franchisor by EWIF, Best Newcomer in the Top Franchise Awards and three of our franchisees were up for Franchisee of the Year in the Working Mum awards! We also received the Small Business Sunday accolade from Theo Pathtitis!
2016
Little Learners UK was a finalist in six national awards, including achieving ‘Highly Commended’ for Franchisor of the Year in the Working Mum Awards and Best New Children’s Activity by What’s on 4 Junior in June 2016!
