Hi my name is Elinor, I live in the beautiful Forest of Dean with my husband and our 3 amazing children aged 18, 15 and 6
I am a qualified primary school teacher and I have been teaching for 20 years. The majority of my teaching time has been spent with early years and KS1. I love working with early years and understand how important play, exploration and creativity are in early education.
I am so lucky to be a part of Little Learners and I aim to bring all my teaching knowledge, skills and experience to deliver exciting, fun filled, engaging messy play and mark making classes for you and your children. I absolutely love my job and holding messy play classes in Gloucester and Forest of Dean.
Forest of Dean Classes are now held in our brand new very own venue located in Foxglove Gardens, High Street Coleford.
We have a variety of messy play and soft play and sensory sessions on weekday mornings and Saturday mornings.

Gloucester Classes :
Mondays 11- 12 at Longlevens Community Centre
We often have special themed events held in Gloucester and Forest of Dean.
I LOVE organising themed MESSY PLAY PARTIES!
We can tailor each party to your child’s interests and provide a range of resources to suit your needs and budget. The party room typically will be set up with (themed) messy trays, sensory play, painting, drawing stations & play dough. Themes could be your child’s favourite programme or interests eg: Peppa Pig, Frozen, Paw Patrol, Farm themed and many more! We can even do our very popular cake smash trays.
All you need to do is find a venue – I then bring everything required, set up your messy play party, you all have tonnes of messy play fun then I do all the cleaning!!
packages start from only £140
We now also hold messy play parties in our brand new Playspace venue in Coleford, Forest of Dean.
Little Learners is a wonderful way to engage young children and develop their physical skills such as core strength and coordination, as well as social and communication skills.
Enjoying messy play sessions helps to develop their early writing skills too. Each week we practise a different shaped mark. As the children practise making marks, we can start to show them how to form letters and numbers. This is great for getting them ready for school!
Classes are all mixed ages with activities to suit babies up to pre-schoolers. This means that they are great for siblings; we offer a fantastic sibling discount.
Each week we explore a variety of messy play, paint, playdough, crayons, chalk, small motor skills, movement and more to help us practise our marks and have educational, sensory fun.
My aim is that my classes are relaxed, welcoming and fun, enabling you to spend time with your child and help them to develop skills they will need for the future. It is also a great place to chat and meet other parents.

“This is my little boy Ellis, he’s just turned one.
He has been going to Elinor’s Little Learners class in Lydney since he was 5 months old. He has thrived so much from attending Elinor’s classes.
Elinor is an absolute credit to Little Leaners, she works incredibly hard, producing the most amazing, inventive and fun messy trays. She is extremely attentive to every single child and parent! I’ve introduced friends to these classes and they absolutely love them!
We don’t just look forward to the class every Tuesday, but also to seeing Elinor.
If you haven’t already, come try out the class 😍” Sarah
