Hi, I’m Kirsty and I am very excited to be bringing Little Learners Messy Play to Leeds.
I live in Headingley with my husband and our two boys.
As a qualified teacher with over 20 years’ experience in primary teaching, I believe children learn best through play, discovery and investigation. Little Learners award winning classes offer children the opportunity to develop pre-writing skills in a fun and stimulating environment through Messy Play.
In the classes, children engage in mark making and fine motor skill activities as well as building their core strength, coordination and social skills. You will be able to learn about early writing skills as well as having fun and spending quality time together. Activities include messy play, painting, play dough and movement to engage children in making their marks. My classes are fun, friendly and welcoming… as well as messy!
Please send me a message if you want to know more:
“Really been enjoying these classes with my boys – one of the few classes that are well suited to both a 3 year-old preparing for school and a crawler wanting to explore! Very much recommend.”
“Nice and funny classes. The teacher is a lovely person. I have enjoyed all the classes so far with my 2 year-old.”
“We were delighted to work with Little Learners for our Unit 11 KVDT Christmas event. Professional, organised and lots of fun 🤗.”
“Thank you! Brilliant class today. Georgie and I looked at Little Learners Facebook page after tea and she saw the picture of Lionel. She said, “That’s where we went, he goes up and down” Boom!👍”
“Been a few times now and really enjoyed it. My baby is 7 months and getting more confident and stuck into the messy play each week. Looking forward to the next few weeks!”
“Kirsty was very friendly and welcoming. I think it can sometimes be a bit daunting meeting other parents and their children at groups, especially if you arrive late like us. But we received a lovely welcome and enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend Little Learners to anyone with kids under 5, who love exploring new things and making their own marks.”
