About me

My name is Alicja and I am the proud owner of Little Learners East Renfrewshire and East Ayrshire. I am delighted to be bringing these award winning classes to the South of Glasgow, Kilmarnock and the surrounding areas. A mum to a cheery and high-spirited 6-year-old boy and a 19-month-old girl, I have been a primary teacher for eleven years. After my maternity leave I decided to work part time. This has allowed me to start my new adventure with Little Learners!

I was drawn to Little Learners as it is a programme developed by an experienced early years teacher and a mum. What I love about it is that it can be easily tailored and differentiated to the needs of every child. It also allows the children to learn and develop at their own pace through a structured progression from gross motor to fine motor skills, mark making and early writing.

My aim is to deliver warm, fun, friendly and educational classes, where both children and adults feel welcome and valued.I look forward to meeting lots of new Mark Makers in East Renfrewshire and East Ayrshire Messy Play Classes!

Messy Play and Mark Making at Home

I currently run a free membership Facebook group where I post ideas you can do at home with your Little One. These are activities I do with my 19-month-old daughter. Let’s Party!

We can provide a fantastic Little Learners party for your little one’s birthday as well as any other occasion.

Once you have decided on your venue of choice, the room would be set up with messy trays based on your chosen theme and lots of sensory play, drawing, playdough and painting. I will bring all the resources needed for the fun to begin, set up each area and lead the session and clear away at the end. This will make sure to take all the stress away so you can sit back and enjoy spending time with your little one on their special day!

Whether you have a young Peppa Pig fan at home or a dinosaur explorer, I can tailor the party to meet your own child’s interests and wishes. We have a range of party packages to suit different budgets and needs. Party packages can be booked for up to 20 children.
