I’m Jessica and I own Little Learners Durham. I am 32 and live near Crook with my husband Michael and two young children Tahnee and Tobin.
I’ve been running Little Learner classes for two years now and absolutely love watching all the little ones make their mark and learn through play.
I have a passion for helping others learn and aim to deliver fun and friendly classes for your little one(s) and also an inviting and nice environment for adults too.
I have worked extremely hard over the past year and I’m overwhelmed at how far Little Learners Durham has come in such a short space of time. I now run between 3 classes a week one of which is a funded class with The Randolph Community Centre. I also run one off events throughout the year as well as lots and lots of birthday parties. These can be themed and prices start at £100
I just love helping little ones make their mark!
We can tailor sessions to your child’s interests and provide a choice of resources to suit your needs and budget. We’ve had lots of fun with a ‘cake smashes’ in the past as well as, for example, Peppa Pig, Frozen and In the Night Garden. The party room typically will be set up with (themed) messy trays, sensory play, painting and drawing stations, play dough, crafts and dance area. Your party can be set up at a venue of your choice – we bring everything required, deliver the session and clear up all the mess afterwards – what could be better?

Attended the Little Learner Monster Mash Halloween Party at Evenwood hosted by Jess. We had a fantastic day, it was also great since dad was able to come with it being on a weekend and see just how much fun Lucas had at Little Learners. Can’t wait for our Messy play this term. Would definately recommend!! Thank you Little Leaners and Thank You Jess for fantastic session!! – Chloe
Alfie has attended little learners from the first session at Bishop Auckland. When we discovered that Alfie didn’t like ‘wet’ mess, I thought this was going to be the end of his little learners experience. However, Jess has worked together with grandma and they have enjoyed a fantastic range of dairy free activities! Alfie particularly enjoys sitting in the sand and the Rice Krispies/ oats. He has successfully showed that he can independently use soldier marks, and is now beginning to draw circles, showing more interest in colouring. This week I was so proud to hear that Jess had managed to work with Alfie in painting a lions face! He was so proud when he brought it over to me when I got in from work! Thanks for the hard work Jess! – Sarah
I love coming here. Messy play is brilliant and Jess always puts a lot of effort into creating a different theme each week. I brought my little boy to a craft session and he loved it. Worth travelling from Aycliffe to attend xx – Hailing
